Call of duty cold war has a total of 18 missions comprising of 10 main missions and 8 side missions. Like COD Modern Warfare, it will take about 5 hours to complete the main story.
It is always great to have the full view of the missions ahead of you to plan as a soldier. Or maybe you are just stuck and I am giving you too much credit.

Operation Chaos and Operation Red Circus are optional side missions that require you to gather pieces of intel and crack codes. Though this is totally optional meaning that you do not have to solve the puzzles.
